A significant portion of all revenues generated by the ASD Centers are donated to the non-profit 501(c)3 Institute of Chronic Illnesses, Inc. the non-profit 501(c)3 CoMeD, Inc., and other community foundations and charities which are dedicated to autism spectrum disorder research, advocacy efforts, and community out-reach efforts to help individuals diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder and other neurodevelopmental disorders, as well as to their families. The ASD Centers, LLC is proud to announce, David A. Geier, Executive Director of the ASD Centers, LLC was appointed by the Governor of Maryland, Martin O'Malley to be a member of the Maryland Commission on Autism in October 2009, and served as a member until May 2011. To learn more about the successful treatment of patients diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders by the ASD Centers, LLC read the exciting new book, "Sacred Spark" by the Rev. Lisa K. Sykes. This book has been endorsed by Congressman Dan Burton, Bishop Charlene Kammerer of the Virginia Conference of the United Methodist Church, Harriet Jane Olson, Deputy General Secretary Women's Division, United Methodist General Board of Global Ministries, and the former medical director of the Autism Research Institute. This book is on the official reading list of the United Methodist Church.
